Fonts
These are fonts I've created or modified. In order to use
them with an X server, you need to use the relevant entries
from fonts.dir and fonts.alias.
- kanji34amc
- A modified version of the kanji24 font. It adds one pixel of
padding on the left and right, and five pixels of padding on the top
and bottom, yielding a 26x34 kanji font. It goes well with 13x34amc
(below).
- amckan34.pcf.gz is the
binary font file.
- jiskan24-bdf-to-amckan34-bdf (version 1.0.1) is
a Bourne shell script that converts the BDF source for kanji24
(jiskan24.bdf) to the BDF source for kanji34amc (amckan34.bdf).
- 13x34amc
- A sans-serif font designed for use with kanji34amc (above). I find
it to be more readable than Sony's 12x24, a serif font designed for use
with kanji24.
